Spilotalis use their special spots to cultivate wildflowers of many different kinds. Each Spilotalis chooses its own special assortment of flowers with properties that produce certain effects, from calming enemies to luring prey to caring for its family.
It was once believed that spending several days in close proximity to a calm Spilotalis would cure a person of almost any disease. While modern science has yet to prove that Spilotalis aromas are that powerful, the scents have been shown to improve the mood and energy of people and Pokémon who feel sad.
