Trecibel love high-pitched sounds and will happily mimic any that they hear. A Trecibel's pitch gets higher and higher the more excited it is, until the sounds it makes become completely inaudible to anyone but itself.
Whenever a Trecibel meets a Decibass, the two Pokémon are driven to compete and see which is the loudest. Because their loudest cries are of such dramatically different pitches, however, it is impossible for one to hear the other and a winner can never be decided.
